Mel has worked in the Property and Financial Services industry since 2002. He started his career with a national conveyancing law firm in Buckinghamshire, managing sale and purchase transactions in the private client team. In 2008, Mel took the opportunity to relocate to the South Coast of England, with his love of the outdoors and the lure of the New Forest being too much to resist. It is here where Mel began his career as a newly qualified Mortgage Advisor with one of the largest estate agencies in the UK.

Within 3 years he had progressed to the most senior role as a consultant, winning regional awards for service excellence. His breadth of experience working in property services helped ensure his clients were offered the most comprehensive service, whatever their financial position or property situation. Mel developed a reputation as the go-to specialist mortgage consultant with unwaveringly high expectations for service. Throughout his career, Mel mentored other Mortgage brokers to develop their skills and service levels. It was this experience that led him onto his next role managing a team of 16 specialist consultants at a large niche broker.

In 2018, Mel joined Max in his pursuit to deliver personal and human service without the hefty price tag in an evolving mortgage market. It was through this partnership that Limitless was born.

Noticing a gap in the market for an unrepresented group of individuals who receive RSU income, Mel talks regularly with banks to help them understand the ins and out’s of RSU’s, ensuring those who receive stock are treated fairly, given the mortgages they deserve and not penalised for choosing to work in this way.
